Day 26 - Relax Day Out

Today everyone is a given a day off to relax and to do our own stuff. I feel so refresh and energise after long hours of sleep. This woke up around 11am and it the latest time i woke up for the whole trip. I still feel cramp at my calf area and my back due to yesterday climb up the Wu Dang Mountain. No pain No game. The sense of achievement is still in me after the trip up the Wu Dang Mountain and I will not forget it for the rest of my life. A few years from now, I can tell my work buddies and my young cousin that I have climbed a mountain before.

My plan for today was to go shopping with my girl friends. My other friends have make plans to go shopping with the other of my classmates. So I will the only guy and 4 girls that will be going shopping together.

Inside of a Mini Mall

We took bus 588 to go to 江汉路. It is a half an hour bus trip to 江汉路 and it is one of the famous shopping district is Wuhan. Many youngster and young adult will go to 江汉路 to shop. It is like a shopping heaven for everyone as anything than you want to find can be found there especially for the girls. Every corner of the shopping mall there is sure something unique for the girls. For the guys, there is not much things to shop but there are still cheap and nice stuff to buy over there.

More shops haven open

We went to this Shopping that is call ATM. Not the ATM bank in Singapore. It is shopping mall that is located at the middle of 江汉路. It’s like Far East Plaza but stuff sold there is much cheaper and most of the things that is being sold there is imitation. On the first floor of ATM, most of the shops are selling shoes and bags. Almost all the shoe that is being sold there is imitation but the fake shoes looks very ORIGIONAL. The people there really know how to imitate the goods and make it look REAL and ORIGIONAL.

The second floor of ATM, it is the girls section. There is so much stuff that is being sold there. My girl friends bought a couple of shirt and pants over there. They all can’t really control themselves when shopping as there is so many things to shop. On the third level of ATM, is the guys section. There were shop that’s selling some unique design printed on the shirt but not all are my choice of clothing.

We finish shopping around 7pm and all of us is hungry after a full day of shopping. We had our dinner at KFC. There were wide variety of meal that is being sold in KFC but the bad things about China KFC is that the quality of the food is not that high than in Singapore. After the meal which is already around 9+pm, we are heading back home to rest and get ready for tomorrow long day at class.

Reflection
One thing that I want to torch about for today is that, almost all the things that being sold in China is imitation. The thing that is being sold at each shop looks almost the same as the Original but it is Imitation. The reason why the goods that is being sold at the shopping mall is imitation is that not everyone can afford to buy the Original item. It is very expensive and they are unable to afford it. In order for them to get the almost the same thing as the original is to get the imitation items. For me I really don’t mind getting the imitation goods because it looks almost the same as the original. I really applaud to the people that copy the design exactly the same as the Original.
