Day 30 - Coke Factory....

Can anyone tell me why we need to go to Coke factory so early in the morning at 8.30am? That’s what we going to do for today. We woke early for to today and we need to assemble in front of the international school block at 8.30am. There will be a bus that will cater all the MDE and ECE students. I can see that most of the students are very tired and some are not really looking forward for the trip to the Coke Factory.

Everyone was fast asleep when we reach the Coke Factory. When I alight the bus, my mind was still sleeping and I was walking a drunken man. HAHA! We took a group photo with the banner before we enter the Coke Factory. The outside view of the Coke Factory looks very huge and there is large driveway for the trucks to transport large cartons of Coke from the factory to the distribution centre.

When we enter the entrance of the Coke Factory, there was a host waiting for our arrival and she going to bring us around the Coke Factory. The first place we went is the media room. The host is going to explain more about how coke is being introduce to the world and how it become so famous. After she give a brief explanation of Coke, she going to show us a short clip of Coke of how Coke Begins and how it expand throughout the world. The host and the short clip were in Chinese so I will ask my friends beside me what it is talking about. When the short clip had finish, the host will gave us a Question and anyone that able to answer it is able to win a prize. I did not win anything because I can’t answer in Chinese. T_T

We left the media room, and host will bring us around the Coke Factory and to see the production of the Coke. When we were walking to see the production of the Coke, there is something strange that I notice. WHY THE MACHINES IS NOT WORKING?! The reason was, all the machines will go for maintenance check and cleanup. I was a bit disappointed because I came all the way here to see the production of the Coke and how it’s made. All my other friends were also a bit piss off. The only things that I can see is that there were workers doing some repair to the machines and cleaning up the machines.

After the disappointing touring around the production of the Coke Factory, we went to exhibition hall which showcase everything about Coke. It is quite a colourful and interesting place to be as there were so many things to look at and explore. The back part of the exhibition hall, is where all the sports events that Coke have organise and collaborate with other companies. On the right side of the Exhibition hall, it’s a map of the world that shows all the Coke factory is located. There were many factories that is being build just to produce the Coke. On the left side of the Exhibition hall, is all the Advertisement of Coke. They use interesting and different way of advertising Coke in order to attract more customers to but the product.

Common People! I know you want Coke!

After everyone has took their photo taking at Exhibition hall, is time for us to leave the Coke Factory. When we were walking back to the bus, two of my classmates ran to us and said that we forgot to take free sample of the coke. I followed them and take a couple of bottles and ran back to the bus. Everyone was looking at us and was shock to see that we were carrying a few bottles of coke with us. We went back to our campus and have a good day rest.

Reflection
Opening up a company is not an easy job. We need a lot of planning and determination to do it. When setting up the company, there a bound to make lose or gain but from each time we progress, we learn and improve to make our product better. That’s what Coke has to make them famous now. There start from a small company and slowly they grow and spread throughout the world. Without the determination, it is impossible to make your company known and famous throughout the world. We need a strong belief in the things we want to pursue before we can continue to the next step of our life. I hope that what I have learnt in my life and make full use of it.
